I was considering the amount of work going in to looking after the sugar, especially cleaning up its mess. So much cleaning, weather that be professional or domestic is unseen labour but is something so integral to our everyday lives. I made a series of videos where I ‘clean’ the sugar plates and cutlery until they dissolve away.
